Hi all,

when i create a pdf of a layout using the inbuilt pdf creator or the adobe acrobat one i also have, the resulting map pdf looks as if its been sliced in two vertically, pulled apart then put back together but not exactly matching. there is an overlap of a few pixels and one half is now slightly higher up the page then the other.

There is a simlar effect horizontally 1/3rd of the way up from the bottom.

it happens with enhanced rendering either on or off, and at either A3 or A4 size (not tried any other)

any suggestions? its making some tidy maps look rather sad. thanks!

sorted it. The effect was happening with Acrobat 7 Pro and the built-in pdf creator. downloading a free pdf creator called 'pdf creator' and using that instead means output looks totally fine.

That's good news, thanks for posting your solution.
